WSFL stopped by Lawson Creek Park in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 7th to see what goes into making The Wall That Heals Vietnam Memorial Replica a reality as it travels from city to city. This is no simple task, as every beam, every rod, every stake in the ground is placed together one piece at a time. This process is done largely through volunteers, many of whom return on the last day to disassemble the wall for transport to its next stop.
The mobile education center is tailored to each individual community The Wall stops in, so there are many facts and profiles centered around Vietnam service members from right here in ENC and the surrounding regions. More info on visiting The Wall That Heals in New Bern here.
