METALLICA has shared another cool tune with fans. Here’s “Don’t Tread on Me (Pre-Production Rehearsal)”, from the “Pre-Production Rehearsals” CD that will be included in the remastered deluxe box set of “The Black Album”, which will be out on September 10. 

The New York “Homecoming” concert in Central Park will now require proof of vaccination, but masks will be optional.  Some added performers include: The KillersElvis CostelloEarth, Wind & FireBarry ManilowJourneyCarlos Santana, and LL Cool J.  Bruce SpringsteenJennifer Hudson, and Paul Simon were already announced as headliners. The concert is on August 21st.  General admission tickets will be free and available in batches starting on August 2nd.  Head to for more info.

Guitarist GARY RICHRATH was an integral part of classic rockers REO SPEEDWAGON – as his soaring guitar lines helped propel such classics as “Take It on the Run,” “Golden Country,” and “Ridin’ the Storm Out.” While Gary is sadly no longer with us (having passed away in 2015) his music continues to live on as part of RICHRATH PROJECT 3:13, and a brand new album, ‘L.A. How long does it take a band to get a check? In a recent interview, DEE SNIDER says that TWISTED SISTER didn’t get their first royalty check from the record label for almost 10 years after “Stay Hungry” came out.
