There’s a charity cover of the BEATLES tune “Come Together,” that features RINGO STARR, along with more thatn 100 drummers. CHAD SMITH of the RHCP, MATT CAMERON of PEARL JAM and more round out the star studded spectacle.

Will RUSH’s ALEX LIFESON ever tour again? In the latest issue of Guitar Player magazine he said “To be honest with you, I don’t think I have it in me to go on the road”.  

October 6 was the one year anniversary of the passing of EDDIE VAN HALEN. His son, Wolfgang, and his widow, both took to social media with emotional tributes.

With the JUDAS PRIEST tour postponed, and guitarist RICHIE FAULKNER recovering from open heart surgery, he has now started talking about what happened. While on stage performing at the Louder Than Life Festival, Faulkner says that he “was having what my doctor called an aortic aneurysm and complete aortic dissection.”

Before he could afford a drum kit, DAVE GROHL taught himself drum rhythms using his teeth.  He used to do it so much, he once got scolded by his dentist for an unusual deterioration. DEEP PURPLE is releasing a covers album in November called “Turning to Crime”.  Check out their version of “7 and 7 Is”, originally done by the psychedelic/folck-rock band LOVE.

The KISS farewell tour will end late next year, and PAUL STANLEY says that’ll be it.  Quote, “You can play beat the clock, but ultimately the clock wins.”  But he thinks KISS could continue without him because, quote, “The band is so much more than music.” 

PAUL MCCARTNEY wrote a children’s book called “Grandude’s Green Submarine”. We’re assuming he made the sub green because he didn’t want to be sued by himself. 

WOLFGANG VAN HALEN joined GUNS N’ ROSES onstage for “Paradise City” during a show in Florida this weekend.
