Springtime means making babies in the fishing world.  The bass are protecting their beds and their fry, so any lure that resembles a bluegill, lizard, water snake or frog is a “go to” lure.  The best bets are swimming jigs, Bream looking swim baits, Walking baits and creature baits. 

Saltwater fishing is amazing now.  Trout fishing is excellent along with drum, flounder, and the cobia will be showing up soon. Plus spots, croakers, sea mullet, hogfish, and blue fish are hitting now.

Off shore Grouper season is here plus snappers, trigger fish and black sea bass are good bets for bottom fishing. Kings, wahoo, and tuna are good too.

Take a kid fishing and remember to pick up your trash.
