Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced their Ghosts of Christmas Eve 2022 tour dates. The trek includes the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on December 10, and PNC Arena, Raleigh on December 14. Tickets go on sale to the public on September 16.

Former Rainbow and Deep Purple frontman Joe Lynn Turner hit the stage with Prague Philharmonic Orchestra on August 27 in Vienna, Austria.

Cheech and Chong presented the Red Hot Chili Peppers with this year’s Global Icon Award at the MTV VMAs. The band performed a couple tunes with drummer Chad Smith rocking a drum kit that honored late Foo Fighters drummer, Taylor Hawkins.

The band Yes is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Close to the Edge album with a fall tour in the the U.S., but there are currently no NC dates listed.

Autograph‘s new forthcoming release “Beyond”, was the last album to feature founding member and bassist Randy Rand. The album is due out on November 18, 2022 on Frontiers Music Srl, which the band has dedicated to Randy and in his memory. Randy’s signature bass playing is a major part of the new record and his spirit is felt throughout. Steve Unger from Metal Church has taken over the bass duties for the band as the legacy of Autograph continues on with a new album dedicated to Randy Rand and a busy schedule of touring. Tommy Lee threatened to pull his wiener out of his pants at Saturday’s Motley Crue show and he DID . . . but it was a wiener DOG. 

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne are moving back to the U.K. because America isn’t what it used to be.  Sharon says the country isn’t united anymore, and Ozzy says he’s, quote, “fed up with people getting killed every day.” 

Metallica announced this year’s charity show for their All Within My Hands Foundation.  It’ll be December 16th in L.A.  Ticket and venue information hasn’t been announced yet.
