North Dakota State College of Science has a football team, and a tory about them has been making the rounds because they’ve got a player this year who’s 49 years old.  His name is Ray Ruschel, and he’s a defensive lineman. He spent almost two decades in the Army and National Guard before going back to school to study business management.  The last time he played football was his senior year of high school more than 30 years ago……………….. A deaf dog in North Dakota recently fell into an open sewer drain and wiggled his way into a pipe.  But firefighters and city workers dug for three hours and were able to get 13 year old Bentley out. He was checked out at the vet, and is home now, doing fine. (Here’s the video.  They finally get him out at 3:28.)…..And finally………. 

A farmer in Minnesota was in a bad crash back in August when he swerved to avoid a puppy that ran out into the road.  And he’s still so banged up, he couldn’t harvest his crops this month.  So he wasn’t sure what he’d do. But then more than a dozen farmers from around the area showed up with their own combines and trucks, and harvested his entire crop for him.  They also did the same thing 11 years ago after his dad passed away during harvest season.
