Today’s Good News 11-22-22

Police and firefighters in Kansas pulled a woman from a burning car last week, and one of their chest-cams got it on video.  The car was on its side and fully engulfed.  They got her to a hospital, and she’s expected to recover………………………A 23-year-old guy near Vancouver got busted for drunk driving last Wednesday and will lose his license for three months.  He was driven home by an officer of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, but instead of being a drunken jerk like so many people are, he thanked the cop for stopping him and gave him a hug………….. And finally……………

Last Wednesday, a 27-year-old guy named Roberto Theiss walked into a police department in South Bend, Indiana looking for an officer named Anne Hayes . . . to thank her for saving his life as a toddler 24 years ago. Back in 1998, she found him walking around in traffic and scooped him up.  He ended up in foster care, got adopted, and says it changed his life. So he wanted to bring her flowers, say thanks, and give her a big hug.  (Here’s a photo.)
