Some Home Depot workers near Nashville found an envelope in the middle of an aisle with $700 in it, and tracked down the rightful owner on Facebook.  It turned out it was money for his kids’ Christmas gifts…………… A woman in Ohio named Chelsea Banning just published her first book, a fantasy novel called Of Crowns and Legends.  And 37 people RSVP’d for her first book signing this weekend . . . but only TWO showed up for it. She got on Twitter and talked about how discouraging it was.  But now a bunch of ESTABLISHED writers have been sharing their own stories to cheer her up. One was Margaret Atwood, who wrote “The Handmaid’s Tale”.  She replied and said, quote, “Join the club.  I did a signing to which NOBODY came . . . except a guy who wanted to buy some Scotch tape and thought I was the help.”………………..And finally…………….

A town in Washington raised $2,300 to send Dustin Ehinger, a grocery store worker with autism , to a Seattle Seahawks game.  He’s a huge fan and had front-row seats.  But it turned out it was more money than he needed for the trip, so he donated the rest.  He gave some to his local Autism Society, and $500 to a food bank.
