The fresh water fishing is getting really good. The flatheads and channel catfish are eating every thing from bluegills to chicken livers to catfish Charlie baits. The bass are protecting their fry and will eat anything that looks like a threat. Creature baits are really good. The Bream are biting great also.

Salt water fishing is good. Puppy Drum and speckled trout are being caught on Gulp and live shrimp. The cobia are here – not always action packed but a 20+ pound cobia will wake you up. Cut Mullet is the bait of choice. Off shore the tuna are still around, plus wahoo, and Mahi Mahi are showing up.

Take a kid fishing, pick up your trash and keep it realistic.
