An elementary teacher in Montana just retired after 31 years, and she celebrated by leaving her last day . . . in a HELICOPTER.  It’s unclear why she chose a helicopter, she just said it’s something she always said she’d do.  A bunch of students and teachers were there when she boarded the helicopter to send her off……………..Florida deputies were recently struggling to remove an alligator from a highway . . . when they got some help from Tre Huntoon, a wildlife wrangler and a former cast member of the Animal Planet show “Gator Boys”.  (Here’s video of this chaos . . . though it looks like they’ve done this before.)……..And finally……………

Britain’s “Daily Mail” is suggesting that we might be on the verge of a cancer vaccine for people fighting colon and pancreatic cancers. In human testing, the vaccine showed the potential to lower the risk of relapse in 100% of patients who had surgery to remove their tumors . . . but “still had cancer markers in their blood.”  At the start of the trial, nearly all the patients showed signs of their cancer returning.  This would be HUGE. Colon cancer is expected to be the #1 cause of cancer deaths by 2030, and pancreatic cancer’s survival rate after five years is just 12.5%.
