Jiffy Lube wants to make sure you can get your ice cream fix this summer by keeping ice cream trucks on the road.  They’re offering $150 vouchers for free maintenance to all ice cream truck owners in the U.S.  (Here’s a video.)……………….. A man in Connecticut got SHOT while driving in his car last week. But he’s okay after his cell phone stopped the bullet.  He only got grazed by it.  Last we heard, cops were still looking for the shooter…………….And finally……………. 

Congrats to Seven Springs newlyweds, Sheri Shaw-James and Bill James! In their 70s, the two had been dating for a year when Sheri was diagnosed with cancer. Bill refused to leave her side, traveling with her to Houston, Texas, where she endured chemo and radiation, and in the midst of that, their relationship got stronger. Sheri was declared cancer free in 2021, and they recently got married. The big event was made even more special by two of Sheri’s oncologists, who arrived in NC from Texas, and walked her down the aisle. Sheri said “There wouldn’t have been a wedding without them, I told them I could not get married without them because they made it happen.”
