It’s summer and it’s hot outside.  The saltwater fishing is excellent.  Fresh water fishing – not so much.

Saltwater fishing is great right now.  The Spanish Mackerel are hitting on Gotcha plugs and Clark spoons.  The Bluefish are hitting on everything.  The puppy drum, flounder and trout are being caught in good numbers.  Off shore the dolphin, tuna, wahoo and sailfish are hitting trolling baits.  the bottom fish like vermillion snapper, grouper, triggerfish and silver snapper are being caught on squid.

The freshwater report goes like this bream and catfish are being caught on night crawlers.  The bass fishing is slow but some folks are catching bass on ned rigs, drop shots, minnows and topwater, early in the morning or late in the evening.

Take a kid fishing.  Pick up your trash.  And Keep it Realistic.
