A fire ripped through an apartment complex in China earlier this month, and a kid was stuck out on a ledge with nowhere to go.  But she’s okay after a downstairs neighbor climbed the side of the building to get to her.  (Here’s the video.)……………….. A 12-year-old just graduated from college in Los Angeles with a 4.0 GPA.  And now she’s going to . . . high school? Her parents enrolled her at L.A. City College when she was nine after she’d already skipped a few grades.  She got her associate degree in studio art, but also took college-level math and anthropology classes. She could go on to get her bachelor’s degree now, but they want to let her be a kid first. Her mom says, quote, “Like any child, she wants to play games and have fun.  I want her to fully enjoy her childhood.”………….And finally………….   

It’s not clear where this happened, but some kid walked up to a random person’s doorbell camera just to tell them, “You matter.”  He said, “There’s always gonna be somebody who cares about you, and you’re a good person. Whoever you are, you matter to someone. Keep that in mind.” (Here’s the video.)
