A woman in Alabama recently bought a flower sculpture at Goodwill for $40, and it’s actually worth thousands.  It’s by an artist named Frank Fleming.  She donated it to the Birmingham Zoo to auction off.  Last we checked, the top bid was $11,500………………. A factory worker in California named John Bartlett recently got forced into retirement after working 42 years at minimum wage.  And all the company did was throw him a lame barbecue.  So one of his co-workers posted about him on TikTok, and started a GoFundMe that’s now raised over $84,000 to help him out…………………..And finally…………. 

Two dozen inmates just graduated with associate’s degrees from Southwestern College near San Diego. It’s part of an initiative the school started in 2016 called the Restorative Justice Program.  It helps inmates get their degree before they’re released. All 24 of them are planning to continue their education and get their bachelor’s degree through a program at U.C. Irvine.
