The LEO edition: An Army veteran in Florida stopped a would-be carjacker and held him until police got there. And a former criminal risked his life to pull an injured cop to safety during a SHOOTOUT in Houston Saturday.  The cop got hit in the leg, but he’ll be okay………….. A police officer in Acapulco was promoted after displaying exceptional compassion in the aftermath of Hurricane Otis. The officer, a 33-year-old mother herself, went above and beyond her duty when she found a four-month-old baby who hadn’t eaten for an extended period and nursed him herself………………….And finally…………. 

A blind border collie went missing in Queens, New York last week, and NYPD Officers Branden Williams and Marc Esposito ended up saving it from drowning.  It wandered into a pond, but they got there just in time, after responding to a 911 call. One of their chest-cams got the whole thing on video. Sparky the border collie was taken to a local vet where he was reunited with his owner.
