A mom and her two young kids got hit by a car in Utah on Tuesday, but survived after 20 high-schoolers lifted it off of them.  The mom and her two-year-old son were stuck underneath it, but the students were able to lift it just enough to get them out.  She and both children were injured but should recover.  A doctor said it’s amazing the kids are alive…………… A recent contestant on “Deal or No Deal“ in the U.K. talked about having a terminal illness on the show . . . but he only won about $5.  So a viewer started a GoFundMe for the guy, and it’s raised over $125,000……And finally…………….. 

A CA judge got tired of sending young people to prison, because there, they just learn to become harder criminals.  So he created an alternative – transforming an old juvenile detention center into a vocational training facility, culinary academy, and school for adolescent offenders. Critics have questioned the sustainability, but the judge says it costs just $25K to put a kid through his program, compared to the $110K it costs to house them in prison.  This isn’t brand new, it’s been a work in progress for 20 years.
