A mom in New Jersey posted a video after a Dollar Tree employee offered to hold her screaming toddler while she checked out and paid.  She wrote in the caption, “We need more angels like this in the world.”  (Here’s the video.) It doesn’t take much to make someone’s day……………. A guy in Rhode Island was having lunch at Raising Cane’s when he started choking on his food, and no one reacted at first.  But luckily, a high-schooler named Chaia Elwell knew the Heimlich and saved his life.  She learned it in school and plans to be a paramedic someday……And finally……………. 

A 65-year-old man in northern Michigan fell through an icy lake, and his dog, Ruby, was there with him when it happened and she helped save his life. A Michigan State Trooper tried to throw the man a rescue disc tethered to a rope, but when that failed, he called the dog over, tied a rope to her collar, and she took the rope to her owner, who was then hauled across the ice to safety by the trooper. The cop’s chest-cam got it all on video.
