A bunch of current and former teachers at a middle school in Kentucky just hit the Powerball for a million bucks.  They’d been pooling their money and playing the same numbers for years, and it finally paid off.  There are 30 of them, so that’s about $33,000 each………. A woman in Milwaukee was frantic when her elderly dog, a 16-year-old Shih Tzu named “Bear”, went missing recently, but then she got a text message letting her know he was okay, and he just went to the bar. He showed up at a popular drinking spot down the street called Finks.  A friend-of-a-friend was there and sent the owner a photo.  A group of women were bar-hopping and apparently found him outside.  The bar says he was very popular………And finally……….. 

There’s a home cleaning business in NYC called Clean with Barbie, and in addition to her paid jobs, every weekend Barbie provides free home cleaning services to folks struggling with mental or physical illnesses. One of her most recent weekend missions turned into six days of cleaning and organizing the home of a couple dealing with depression, addiction, and mental health issues. Barbie shares her stories on YouTube, hoping to inspire compassion in others, and the chance for people to change and heal.
