An elementary school principal in Cary, North Carolina took matters into his own hands when a wild turkey wouldn’t stop harassing kids in the pick-up line.  There’s a photo of him using an umbrella to chase it off……….. A 105-year-old eclipse chaser is gearing up to see his 13th. His name is Laverne Biser.  His first eclipse was in Maine in 1963. He’s traveled the world to see them, but won’t have to go anywhere this time.  He lives in Fort Worth, Texas, so the “path of totality” is going right over his house……..And finally…………

A mom in Georgia was driving with her two sons when she crashed into a river, and five girls from the University of Georgia saved them.  Four jumped in while the other called 911.  One had to do CPR on the youngest kid, but everyone’s okay. The woman and her two sons got released from the hospital a few days later, and she said she was planning to meet up with the girls to thank them in person.
