Alice Cooper is reimagining some of his classics for a children’s album. “Solid Rock Revival” will be out on August 9.  (Full Story)  

The guys in KISS have sold their name, logo, music catalog, and image and likeness rights to Pophouse Entertainment. It’s the company behind ABBA’s live avatar show – KISS made $300 million on the deal. Gene Simmons says, quote, “KISS the touring band is over.  What Pophouse will do with our images, our music and our personas is unlike anything anyone has ever seen.” The show is scheduled to debut in 2027.  A biopic and a documentary are also in the works.

Little Feat will release a new Deluxe Edition of Feats Don’t Fail Me Now this summer, just in time for the 50th anniversary of the legendary group’s fourth studio album. It joins Rhino’s growing list of Little Feat reissues, including last year’s Deluxe Editions for Sailin’ Shoes and Dixie Chicken and 2022’s massive Waiting for Columbus boxed set.  FEATS DON’T FAIL ME NOW (DELUXE EDITION) will be available June 14 on 3-CD and 2-LP. Both versions include the studio album newly remastered from the original multi-track and two-track stereo tapes. They also feature rare and unreleased alternate versions and outtakes from the album sessions. In addition, the CD set comes with an exclusive unreleased recording of Little Feat performing live in Paris in 1975.
