A hospital in Spain is bringing DOGS into the ICU.  They’re therapy dogs, and they’re being brought in to help comfort patients.  It’s optional, and patients in the program receive two visits each week of 15 to 20 minutes each………. The manager of a Taco Bell near Philly recently did CPR on an 11-week-old baby and saved the kid’s life.  The little boy’s mom had just turned into the drive-thru when she realized he’d turned blue and wasn’t breathing. Manager Becky Arbaugh immediately dropped everything, threw her headset down, did chest compressions, and brought him back.  She says she was able to stay calm because her own daughter had a similar experience as a baby………And finally……….. 

Two years ago, 47 cats were rescued, after being found crammed into a hot car at a rest stop in Minnesota.  The cats were piled from floor to ceiling, and their owner had been living in the car with them, but agreed to surrender the cats to animal shelters. During the rescue, one of the cats escaped. Hercules, a gray and white feline, was found a month later with a fractured jaw and damaged tongue, but he was nursed back to health and adopted. Today, Hercules is a model in an ad campaign for Target.
