A group of sophomores at a high school near Arlington, VA surprised their janitor with a new ride this week. Francis Apraku moved to the U.S. from Ghana 10 years ago, and students love him. A group of boys at the school asked him a while back what his dream car would be, and he said one of those Jeeps with a tire on the back. So, a Jeep Wrangler. They started a GoFundMe in May, hoping to raise enough by the end of their senior year to get him one, and it quickly shot up over $20K. They surprised him with it on Monday and put a big bow on it. His reaction was great. A local news station covered it live, and you should check out the interview. He’s quite a character, and you can tell how grateful he was. (Here’s a video and the full interview.)
