Planet Fitness announced its annual High School Summer Pass program was a huge success again.  For June, July, and August, all high-schoolers could show up and work out for free.  They say almost three million kids took advantage of it this summer, logging more than 12 million workout sessions……… For 30 years, three people in Michigan had been pooling the money they made from recycling cans to play the lottery, and it just paid off big time.  They matched five balls in the Mega Millions and took home a cool $1 million…………..And finally………… 

Someone made an emergency call about a sinking boat off the coast of Dover, England . . . and accidentally called 911 in Dover, Delaware instead, but the 911 operators still managed to save the day.  One of them got the boat’s coordinates in the English Channel, while someone else looped in the U.S. Coast Guard, who looped in the French Coast Guard. Rescuers were on their way to help just 16 minutes after the call came in, and everyone’s okay.  It happened last month, but we’re hearing about it now after the 911 team in Delaware got nominated for an award.
