Clowns might seem creepy to some, but a study found they can actually help kids leave the hospital faster. The term for the kind that visit sick kids is a “medical clown“, and they go through all sorts of special training. The study found kids hospitalized with pneumonia were able to go home in an average of 43.5 hours if they spent just 30 minutes with a clown. The average for kids who didn’t get the clown treatment was 70 hours. So like they say, laughter really can be the best medicine……………And finally……………..

Shiller Joseph has lupus and had been on dialysis for three years. It turned out Krissy was a match, and the surgery happened this spring.
