Vets at Virginia Tech saved a three-month-old donkey named Harper that ate a towel. Pieces of it were blocking her digestive tract, but they did emergency surgery, and she’s back home on the farm….. Atrium Health owns a bunch of hospitals in North Carolina and Georgia, and recently announced they’re forgiving more than 11,000 people’s old medical debt. NBC News did a story this month on how the company was aggressively pursuing that debt, and even putting liens on people’s homes.  So, they got publicly shamed for it, and it looks like it worked………….And finally………….. 

Fox Weather’s Bob Van Dillen was all over social media this weekend after interrupting a live shot with “Fox & Friends” to save a woman in a flooded car. It happened in Atlanta on Friday after Hurricane Helene tore through.  He called 911, and firefighters were on the way, but he could hear her yelling for help, so he waded in, moved through the chest deep water to her vehicle, and carried her out himself.
