The world’s first wood satellite arrived at the Space Station on Tuesday.  They’ll drop it into orbit soon to see how it holds up in the vacuum of space.  If it works, we might use wood for ALL satellites someday.  It’s more eco-friendly when it burns up on reentry and doesn’t damage the ozone layer………………. A woman in Ohio recently got trapped in her basement when her house caught fire.  And police shared dramatic footage where they work with firefighters to pull her out through a tiny window.  They got her out JUST in time……………And finally………….. 

A CA cop is being hailed a hero after saving a kid from an oncoming train recently.  The mom’s SUV got stuck on the tracks, and she was trying to get her two kids out before the train hit.  Deputy Michael Castaneda happened to end up behind her car while driving home from work. He ran in and scooped up one of her kids just four seconds before the train hit, and the mom got her other kid out with less than a SECOND to spare.  The SUV got nailed, but everyone’s okay.
