A guy in Illinois was redoing his parents’ bathroom when he ripped out some drywall and found an old Christmas gift in the wall with his name on it.  They apparently hid it in 1978 and forgot.  It turned out to be a set of toy planes called Thunder Jets that Matchbox made……………… Officials in Jacksonville, Florida recently saved a dog they found stuck on the edge of a bridge . . . like it was thinking about ending it all.  It’s not clear how she got there, but they were able to hoist her back over the side, and she’s okay……..And finally………….. 

Utility workers in Kansas who were busy restoring power to folks impacted by the recent winter storm also had another mission to accomplish. They were tasked with saving two bobcats that climbed a pole and got frozen to it over the weekend.  The high temp on Sunday was 16 degrees with a wind chill of minus-five.  One bobcat was a kitten, and the other was the mom.  It took two hours to get them unstuck, but they both ran off and seemed to be okay.
